TYPES OF YOGA CLASSES: YIN YOGA This class focuses on deep stretches and long holds rather than movement. We work on connective tissues, fascia, tendons, and in relaxing muscles. We tie it all together in connection with our breath making room for expansion and release. This self-nurture time is used to release tension, stress, and all that no longer holds purpose, while embracing inner connection, resetting, and restoring. HATHA YOGA This class focuses on muscle, strength, balance and alignment. We connect to breath as we flow throw the poses. Here we embark on a journey of self-discovery and mindful movement. Together, we'll explore the alignment and integrity of each pose, fostering strength, foundation, and presence on and off the mat. As we flow through the sequences, we're encouraged to listen to the body, honoring its wisdom, and embracing the journey within. This class offers a supportive space for exploration, growth, and self-expression.

Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. Mediation is a practice that has been around for thousands of years. We sometimes don’t see the benefits of meditation, especially when we have lofty ideals or expectations. However, with simple, regular meditation we are able to see the benefits come alive almost immediately. On the outside, someone who’s meditating might not seem to be doing anything other than breathing or repeating a sound or phrase over and over. Inside their brain, however, it’s an entirely different story. The benefits of mediation are many. Physically, emotionally, mentally, and yes, it can even be a spiritual one.

SOUND BATH & MEDITATION HEALING This session consists of a guided Nidra Meditation to bring you into a release and let go state of mind by allowing you to step into a consciousness awake to dreaming and then to not dreaming while remaining awake. We will finish the session with a Quartz Crystal Bowl sound bath in which I may introduce additional sound healing instruments as chimes, Tibetan Chingsha bells, etc. WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A SOUND BATH SESSION? I will ask you to lay on a yoga mat or with something comfortable under your head (a cushion perhaps). It will also be suggested you use a blanket, as when we are comfortable and in a meditative state of mind, our bodies temperature might lower. You will then be asked to focus on your breath for a few minutes and guide you to a state of relaxation and meditation. Once in complete meditative state, the chosen instruments will be played. The sounds come over your body and mind allowing you to enter a deeper state of consciousness. You disconnect from outer stimuli and dive inward to find your quiet and connective space. During the session, emotions from past experiences may be release from the core level and may bring on joy as well as sadness. You could also just reach a calm and restful place and not bring up any emotions on the first session. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A SOUND BATH? You can find reduction in pain, anxiety, stress, sadness, and tension. The brainwave state is altered from normal waking state (beta) to relaxed state (alpha), dreamlike state (theta), and even restorative state (delta). As the mind and body relax, the heart rate and blood pressure decrease, and our breathing become deeper. It is in this state that deep healing can occur. We are able to release toxins, have better sleep, and strengthening of immune system. The blockages that are removed in these energy centers of chakras when the balance is restored has a psychological effect as well and can help with behavioral issues. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A SOUND BATH? There is not special preparation for a sound bath. Wear comfortable clothes, hydrate, and eat light. HOW LONG DOES A SESSION LAST? A session can last anywhere from 30-60 minutes.

WHAT IS REIKI? Reiki is a healing modality much like acupuncture and cupping, it impacts the energetic systems of the body to promote the body’s regenerative self-healing ability. Reiki treats the whole person, body, mind and spirit, to achieve balance and restore optimum health. Reiki is universal life energy, harnessed and guided by a trained Japanese Reiki Practitioner that has been attuned to the practice. Once a person has been attuned, their hands become a channel for concentrated life energy that can promote healing and balance in themselves and others. We live in a world of energy that nourishes and maintains all living things. When this energy flows uninterrupted there is balance and harmony within and around us, and we experience a sense of well being. HOW IT WORKS Reiki is done by a Reiki practitioner, who places their hands on or just above your body to redirect energy. With the permission of the recipient, some points are done by direct contact, with a gentle placement of the hands by practitioner. The practitioner serves as a channel for this vibrational energy life force from the Universe to travel to the recipient allowing the body to go into natural healing mode and create balance. As a practitioner, If the recipient does not tell me exactly what they are feeling, I will let the body tell me where it needs healing and balance. I will feel this through different sensations transmitted to me from the recipients heat and energy. Our bodies accumulate constant stress becoming irritated, suffer headaches, stomach aches, muscle tension and pain, anxiety, restless sleep and even depression, The body natural healing ability begins to create blockage declining our physical, mental and emotional health. Although there is not scientific proof that Reiki leads to the cure of illnesses, there are many benefits. WHAT TO EXPECT? Some will feel the energy in sensation of heat, tingling, or pulsing where the practitioner has placed anything at all. There could be a rush of emotions in the first session, while there may be no reaction at all, although they me feel somehow better afterwards. The most common experience in almost all recipients and an immediate feeling of relaxation and release of stress. Reiki should not be used to substitute the consultation of a physician. Reiki complements other types of medical and therapeutic treatments, and it can increase the efficacy of other types of healing HOW CAN YOU RECEIVE REIKI? Reiki can be received in person or distance. And, because everyone has access to the universal life force energy to some extent, whenever you want to send a thought, idea, or Reiki to someone, you connect to that person and allow the transfer to take place using your self-guided intention. This simple theory allows us to send Reiki at a distance WHO CAN RECEIVE REIKI? Reiki can be received by recipients of all ages, anywhere and anytime. Elders, children, expectant mother, and even animals. WHO SHOULD I RECEIVE REIKI FROM? A well-trained and attuned Reiki practitioner who receive training in person from a certified Reiki master. WHAT HAPPENS DURING A REIKI SESSION AND HOW LONG DOES IT LAST? The recipient lays on a message table, fully clothed. The practitioner will gently scan the body with his hands, palms face down, about 2-3 inches over the body and focusing on specific locations depending on the energy felt. Some limbs may have direct touch with recipient’s permission. There are about 12 hand positions used throughout the scanning. HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY REIKI HEALING SESSION? Please refrain from any mood altering substance the day of and night after your session. After your session, you'll want to refrain from: social media, the news, crowds, heavy conversations, chaos, making major decisions. As energy has shifted, you'll want to drink extra water to flush out what it is now moving with it. Plan to journal, rest and honor your body's needs. The energy will continue to work for 24 hours, so plan to lay low if possible, integrating the higher frequencies. A session can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. The amount of time the practitioner leaves hands in each position depends on the flow of energy felt through their hands. This healing can also take place at distance rather than in person. The time is approximately the same.

PRANAYAMA is the yogic practice of focusing on breath. In Sanskrit, prana means "vital life force", and yama means to gain control. Pranayama is the ancient practice of controlling your breath. You control the timing, duration, and frequency of every breath and hold. The goal of pranayama is to connect your body and mind. It also supplies your body with oxygen while removing toxins. This is meant to provide healing physiological benefits. Breathwork is a powerful way to access your body’s innate intelligence to heal itself. Breathwork, the conscious awareness of your breath, is a practice that is thousands of years old, and while there are many variations, styles and names, all types of breathwork offer the chance for personal transformation through improved mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Our breath, or prana, is literally what keeps us alive, and yet, so often, we go through the day chronically shallow breathing, denying ourselves our full life force which often keeping us in a state of anxiety, or fight or flight. Breathwork, or the process of deep rhythmic breathing, moves us out of fight or flight and into the parasympathetic nervous system. It is said that how we breathe is how we live, and so to live life to its fullest, we believe we should breathe to our fullest. And that’s where a breathwork practice comes in. Because breathwork literally raises our energy (our frequency) it’s one of the key therapeutic modalities we internally posses for emotional well-being and emotional resilience. Breathwork bridges ancient wisdom with modern science to help you unlock our full potential. You will learn the right questions to ask you children and feel confident I’m walking them through to the root of the and tapping it out! What you will learn: - the benefits and basics - how to identify the problem - how to introduce the child or teenager to EFT and Tapping - how to get started and do the tapping points This life altering course was created with the intentions of equipping parents with a tool to help raise kids with confidence, connection to their inner resources, to calm the nervous system, encourage and personal growth.
